Our tua kampong has been very ill last month suffering from a mild heart attack. He is ok now especially after his Iban friends performed a Miring ceremony at his house in Hastings last weekend to chase away all the evil spirits and taniwha!
Many Ibans came especially to perform a miring ceremony to help Edward recover from his illness: John Seliman and Justin Dit from Hamilton, Usay from Hastings and Peter Salang from Palmerston North.
