Our tua kampong has been very ill last month suffering from a mild heart attack. He is ok now especially after his Iban friends performed a Miring ceremony at his house in Hastings last weekend to chase away all the evil spirits and taniwha!
David,this is indeed heart warming to know that the Iban-Sarawakians are still having ngabang.Ngabang means visiting a good friend or extending friendship....Nice pictures of the Gawai.In olden days the Ibans have open house every day of the year!! You are welcome to visit or ngabang.sawan
